I love this idea but does it need to be tied to Pendant's hardware? What if it were a cross-platform service that also allowed you to actively record convos with your kids instead of passively, and also provide the same coaching? And are there other wearables that do passive listening?

But seriously - yes, I can imagine connecting to other apps that have APIs like Pendant. Maggie and I like Pendant though because you don’t have to put in more effort to use it (it's just silently on). And interactions are more natural because of this — once you start recording those conversations, you run the risk of those conversations (and our lives) being performative. So while I love the Pendant use case specifically and think this is an amazing application of background listening tech, very open to inputting more data sources!
